Normal/Combination Skin - Combination of dehydrated areas and
oily areas. Oily areas within the T-zone and dehydration in the cheek and neck
area. Most people have this type of skin.
Oily Skin - Course texture. Pores have a tendency to be larger
and shiny. Oily skin is prone to pimples, blackheads, and white heads. An
occasional breakout does not mean that you have an oily skin.
Dry /Dehydrated Skin - This type of skin is lacking in
moisture, which means it is moisture depleted. This type of skin could be the
result of medication, time of the year, travel, or climate.
Dry /Oil Dry Skin - The skin is lacking in moisture and oil.
Skin may be lacking luster, have small pores, and/or have a flaky or tight
feeling. The skin has no shine.
Sensitive Skin - Skins that are easily irritated by product
and/or by touch. Sensitive skin is usually fine texture, thin, and easily
irritated by products which causes reddening of the or irritation of the skin.
Baby Boomer/40 Plus Skin - This type of skin is not only
determined by age but by over exposure to the sun, life style, and stress. The
skin begins to lose the elasticity and firmness. It begins to show the
appearance of fine lines, dryness, and age spots.
Acne/Problem Skin - This type of skin could occur in your
teens or adult life. This could be due to hormonal factors, puberty, the
occurrence of menopause, or stress related.
Rosacea - A skin disorder with inflammation of the cheeks,
nose, forehead and chin. Red areas on the face can be present. It occurs
usually between the ages of 30 and 50. The skin disorder is mostly common in
women, men are more likely to have a severe form with a red bulbous nose. The
reddened areas can have pimple-like pustules.
